Affiliate Programme
Last updated 18 August 2026
The short version
Not open yet. The programme needs the billing system finished before anybody can be tracked or paid. These are the terms it will run on, published now so you can decide whether it is worth waiting for.
25% of every payment your referrals make, for as long as they keep paying. A 60-day attribution window, paid monthly over $50.
This box is a summary and nothing more. Where it and the sections below disagree, the sections below are what applies.
1.The deal
- 25% of every payment somebody you referred makes — not just their first one. While they keep paying, you keep earning. On the $19/month plan that is $4.75 a month, for as long as they stay.
- A 60-day window. Someone who clicks your link and signs up any time in the next 60 days is counted as yours.
- Paid monthly, over $50. Balances below that roll on to the next month rather than disappearing.
Commission is calculated on what is actually received — after refunds, chargebacks and any tax the payment provider collects.
2.Who can join
Anybody with an audience who would genuinely use BookArc: writers, self-publishing newsletters, course creators, YouTube and TikTok channels about publishing. You do not need to be a customer, though the people who recommend it best usually are.
You need an account here, somewhere to send people from, and a way to be paid. We can decline an application, and we say so plainly rather than leaving one pending forever.
3.How you may promote it
Recommend it the way you would recommend anything you liked. What is not allowed:
- Self-referral. Your own account, your second account, your family’s accounts, or a deal where the customer gets a kickback for going through your link.
- Bidding on our name. No paid search or social ads on “BookArc” or near-misspellings of it, and no ads that land on a page dressed up as ours.
- Coupon and deal spam. Listing invented discount codes on voucher sites to catch checkout traffic somebody else earned.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, redirects, pop-unders, or anything that sets the referral without a deliberate click.
- Promises we do not make. No “guaranteed income”, no invented earnings, no claiming a book written here is guaranteed to sell or to pass any platform’s review.
- Unsolicited email or DMs. Send it to people who asked to hear from you.
- Passing it off as ours. You are not a BookArc employee, may not sign an email as one, and may not register domains, handles or app listings using the name.
4.What counts, and what does not
- A referral counts once the person you sent has paid and the payment has cleared.
- A refunded or charged-back payment is reversed out of your balance, including after it has been counted. See the refund policy.
- If two partners both have a claim on the same signup, the most recent click wins.
- Free accounts earn nothing until they upgrade — then they earn from the first payment on.
5.Getting paid
Payouts run monthly, for the previous month, once your balance is over $50. Amounts are in US dollars.
Your own taxes are yours to handle — we do not withhold anything and we are not your employer. Nothing here creates a partnership, an agency or a job.
6.Ending it
You can leave whenever you like, and anything already earned and cleared is still paid.
We can remove someone for breaking the rules above, and where that happens we withhold commission earned through the breach — not everything they ever earned. We can also change the commission, the window or the threshold, with 30 days’ notice by email, and the new terms apply to referrals made after that date.
