Merge PDFs and images

Combine PDFs and images into one PDF, in the order you choose. It all happens in your browser — your files are never uploaded.

Drop several at once, or add more as you go. PDF, PNG, JPG and WebP.

How it works

  1. 1Add your PDFs and images — drop them all at once, or one at a time.
  2. 2Put them in order with the arrows.
  3. 3Press merge. One PDF downloads, with every page in the order you set.

Useful when you are putting a book together

  • A bonus chapter or worksheet written separately, added to the end of the book.
  • Front matter — a title page, a copyright page or a dedication — made in another tool and put before chapter one. See front matter.
  • Diagrams or photos that need a full page each.
  • A cover — though if that is all you need, add a cover to a PDF sizes it to the book for you.

Questions people ask

Are my files uploaded?

No. Your browser does the merging on your own computer and hands the finished PDF straight back. Nothing is sent to BookArc or anyone else, which also means there is no queue and no file-size limit beyond what your computer can hold.

Can I turn images into a PDF?

Yes — add only images and each one becomes a page. Add images alongside PDFs and they are placed where you put them in the list, at the same width as the first PDF so the pages line up.

How do I change the order?

Use the arrows next to each file. The list is the order the pages will appear in the finished PDF.

Why won’t one of my PDFs open?

Usually because it is password-protected. Save a copy without the password in your PDF reader and add that instead.
